At CTSPS our patients' and staff's health and safety are our first priority.

We understand the growing concerns regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), but our offices are considered to have a low risk of exposure. We can continue to see our patients as scheduled.

We do advise all of our patients and staff to do the following with increased vigilance:

  • Hand washing is your best self-defense against the spread of germs. This means scrubbing with soap for at least 20 seconds on the palms, between the fingers, the back of the hands, and the wrists. Scrubbing is followed by a thorough rinse with water and complete drying. If a paper towel is used for drying, it should be used to turn off the water.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

  • Substitute footsies for high fives or handshakes. Please feel comfortable not participating in bodily contact with the staff or other members if you so choose.

  • Please stay home if you are not feeling well, especially if you have a fever, are coughing or sneezing, or are experiencing shortness of breath.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Help us by being vigilant. We will be asking about your symptoms and exposure. If you have traveled to any of the countries where there are outbreaks of the virus or been in close contact with someone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19, please follow guidance on the CDC website.

Here are the things we are doing to keep our clinics clean and safe:

  • We wash hands before and after contact with any patient.

  • We encourage patients to wash hands or use hand sanitizer upon arrival at the clinic. Sinks are available for your use.

  • We sanitize equipment and surfaces throughout the day.

  • We are keeping patients separate from each other as much as possible.

  • We have reviewed and updated our Safety and Health policies and practices with guidance from the CDC, OSHA, and our local health departments.

  • Our clinics are stocked with hand sanitizer and tissues at the front desk.

We are closely monitoring updates from the Center for Disease Control.

We continue to be committed to making our clinics safe and healthy for patients and staff.
